HOW TO EFFECTIVELY TEACH 40 to 50 STUDENTS IN AN ONLINE CLASS USING AVATAR CLASSROOMS

Some people often asked me what an online class with 40-50 students looks like. How do I motivate them to attend and participate in class?
and as a teacher, where do I draw strength despite so much school work?
To answer these questions, I am sharing with you my online class in Understanding Culture, Society, and Politics last April 9, 2021. All participants were Marikina Science High School grade 12 students and had parent/guardian consent in posting this on my Facebook wall and KZbin channel.
We used Avatar Classrooms (classrooms wherein students create their own avatar).

The COVID-19 pandemic indeed has disrupted the momentum of every learner in the country. It resulted in a need to establish a new learning system that requires, more than ever, constant communication and support.
I draw my strength from God, my family, friends, co-teachers, students, parents and guardians of my students.
Despite technical difficulties, we continue to be action-oriented individuals, finding means to solve it. Besides, encountering problem is part of life.
We hope that this would be a great help for many teachers and students who are exploring online platforms.
