Each weapon class has it's own defining traits that make it stand out from the others, and in this video I will be covering the basics of what these traits are, and what you should do in order to take advantage of them. Greataxes have a talent where if you guard break it will extend the knockdown allowing you to get a free m1 in or a mantra (also with heavy you can abuse uppercut + s to bait out theyre vent)

I recently got the golden swordfish and I would say it’s better than the layer 2 rapier because of the trident spear crit which can catch many people off guard and does more damage than the normal rapier crit

I have a really cheesy Sovs Punishment build that I love to use, 3* Weight, Stone, Heavy Hands Ring, with the Gale Talent that causes a fling on PB, basically makes PB -> Gale Punch -> Rising Wind confirmed

I wish you would have talked some about single guns, since the reload requirement changes the playstyle so heavily. If I recall single gun is pretty bad because of the reload, but I would still like to play with them Also, a movement guide would be helpful! I find fists to be really difficult to use because their range is just so tiny and I don't know how to get in close enough to hit people

As a 2H gun main, I'd have to disagree, first off repeater (revolver) has 1.5 more range and higher scaling, making high stats with scaling rings make it even stronger, also another type of gun playstyle is close and aggressive, using roll cancelling as movement and abusing the weird anims and 3 m1 flourish, both are good but cheesing is easier

repeater might be better on some builds but at lower investments the alloyed dawnshot does more damage, which is normally what you want to be doing so I wouldn’t say the repeater is better, tho the range is nice. as for playing dual guns aggressively tho I really don’t think it’s super optimal at least if you’re trying to beat top players, biggest reason is that dual guns have a big downside of slowing you down when firing which makes it really hard to track and stick with your opponent

​@@SpidersDW which is why usually you'd opt for 65 agility and engage mantras to constantly stay close, your movement cant be as it is with a sword, you need to almost spam roll cancels while m1ing to keep close

For rapiers, you should use enchants that benefit from multi-hits, such as Detonation, Grim, and Yunshul, since they almost always guarantee a proc with a crit.

I think intense feinting playstyle really benefit heavy weapons, specially when paired with low windup mantras (galebreathe, exhaustion strike, etc) letting you either hit a block or hitting a mantra that starts combos

Clubs arent as weak as ppl say they are, though no one uses that at all. I believe they've reverted the crit back to the guard break and the perch got mad op stats (bleed and chips with 30pen) And if you ever use the one you got to be mad aggressive with it.

Some really good greatswords are: Darkalloy Greatsword, Enforcers blade for the high damage crit, and lastly the Alloyed Inheritor.

What benefit does alloyed inheritor have ? Last i check it's damage is pretty mid (straight in the middle between pale briar and enforcer axe) and the special property of it (way of navae crit and aerial) doesn't seems significant
