How to: Elevated Idle Duramax Diesel LLY

Step 1: Turn key to on position.
Step 2: Press accelerator to the floor.
Step 3: Press brake 3 times quickly.
Step 4: Start engine.
DIC will display elevated idle is now on. It will take a minute for rpms to climb.
You only need to do this once. Every time you start it from now on it will kick on if you are not above operating temperature.
Elevated idle will turn off by simply putting in gear or hitting gas.
