I loved my math professor. I told her that at grade school I NEVER learned percentages and fractions. she gave me a helpful tutorial and I got an A at the test after. loved her, wish she was my teacher for everything

Thank you for this! This video was actually listed in the learning materials for my first week of class. If others find it helpful, here are the notes I've taken on this video! - The first thing you should do is review your course material. If you can’t find anything there - - Read any materials your professor has provided at the beginning of class. - Look for contact information and preferred contact methods/times. - Check out your school policies. There may be guidelines for required timelines that online professors have to respond to student communications. If you have a professor who is chronically slow at responding, and it causes you to be late on your assignments, you may want to escalate the issue to the higher ups. - Write your email: o Add your class designator, quarter/term, and week in the subject line along with the actual subject. o Keep it short and to the point. Communicate the necessary details, then ask the question. o Example email: (Here I inserted a screenshot of the example email in the video) o Check their title. If you don’t know it, call them Professor [Name]. o Be honest and realistic.
