Hi can I use a blending stump instead of a paper stump . Do they both work as well as each other on pewter. Also how thick is the pewter you used please

Linda, yes, you can use a blending stump; it is the same as a paper stump, which also goes by tortillon. It would have been easier if everything only had one "name." 🙃The pewter I use is 36 gauge, ± 0.15mm.
