Yay Patty! Thank-you so much for this tutourial which has - finally - convinced me to purchase it to demo over here in the UK. You've showed some great samples there - but I love that last card you made, with those three gorgeous colours - Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron and Grapefruit Grove that were quite obviously made for one another. I think that's going to be my 'go-to' colour combo through right into Summer and it might sneak back in for Winter-into-Spring 2019 too! Hi Patty, Having subscribed have been going back to watch some of your videos. Love this technique but why do we need to have die cutting edge up? It's so much easier to keep dies in place if they are on top of card and that's how I do all my cuts with no problems. So again, why do I need to put the die cut edge up to emboss with the die, I don't understand. Regards and thanks.

I was following the recommended sandwich from Stampin' UP! .. I think you might be able to do the whole thing the opposite way (reverse the whole sandwich) although I have not tried that.

Do the embossing mats smell of rubber? I am sensitive to that and do not want to order if they have that smell to them. Thank you.

I did not notice any smell taking them out of the package and using them, but I suppose if you put it to your nose and sniffed you would smell rubber.
