Just a tip. If you pull a long tail through the needle ,instead of a very short tail then a knot, your yarn won’t continuously come out. That must be very frustrating so I hope my little too helps. Also I found your video more helpful then all of the MANY other videos I’ve watched here on KZbin. I’ve recently started crocheting amigurumies and I prefer embroidered eyes and noses over the plastic safety eyes and noses. So I’ve searched for a tutorial on embroidered eyes and noses but could never find what I was looking for…until now. Honestly this makes me so happy and relieved that my search is finally over. Very precise, simple and absolutely adorable! ❤️ great job🐰🐇🐻🐻‍❄️

Oh my gosh I'm the same as you. I am so thrilled I found this video. I have two bunny rabbits that are completed except for their faces ☺️. My bunnies are simple crushed velvet. No clothing on them at all. The bunnies are a gift for 7 year old tomboy girl and a five-year-old kindergarten boy.. Now my question Would it be okay if I made bunnies with eyelashes?

@@crittercrochet2685 I tend to get wordy so my comment was quite long. Do you think it would be okay to do eyelashes on Plain generic bunnies that are gifts for a boy and a girl? I think eyelashes are okay? Do you?

This is SO helpful! I can't believe I never thought of using pins to check placement first.

So helpful. Thank you so much! What I liked was that I had already sewed the head to the blanket and all other videos entered through the bottom and tying off. Your method helped a lot

Thank You! This was so helpful! I could crochet the whole animal with no trouble but putting on the face was a trial. I always had to do it over two or three times. This makes it somuch easier!

Hi 😊 I used your blog post to help me embroider the face of my latest amigurumi and came here to find your youtube. Just wanted to say thanks, as the comment section on your blog isn’t working. I usually rely on French knots or safety eyes… but I’m making baby toys at the moment & those options aren’t the safest. After 4 attempts at embroidering a face my toy still looked like a monster! I found your photo guide and now my little rabbit won’t terrify small children 😆 Thank you so much, the guide was really clear and easy to follow. Despite my inability to embroider, I teach crochet (I don’t usually teach amigurumi, so my poor embroidery skills are masked) but now I’m going to be making more baby safe toys (all with sleepy eyes 😂) and showing others how to as well - and I’ll point them at your tutorial. I like your channel, those shark slippers of yours are hilariously amazing, they’d make great presents. All the best 😊 Wheelie👩🏻‍🦼

THANK YOU!! I can crochet with my eyes closed... but embroidery and sewing... questionable. Heehee. I made bunny lovies and embroidered eyes are best since these plushies are intended for babies. Thank you again, sweetheart. Your video is great.

I love your work. I will finish off differently because I am making a doll for my 6 year old autistic granddaughter, who destroys everything when angry. I will let you know the results after Christmas. Thanks for your interest. P.S. Her yarn fell off the needle 4x, 😆. 5x

Great job! I noticed your thread kept falling off your needle. Is there a reason you add slack after threading the needle instead of knotting the thread to it? I do that with most sewing and weaving and so far that hasn't been an issue and I tug it off when done.

Sometimes I find it easier to just thread the needle and leave it since other times when I knot the thread it usually falls off anyways. Basically sometimes I knot it and sometimes I don't 😊

My grandma taught me to always have about 5 in of thread through the needle, just passed my hand. That is enough thread so that it won't fall off because you have a grasp of it. Over the past few years of watching videos on KZbin, I have learned to insert the hook as I exit from making the face back through the same hole I made when I entered to begin the face. So now both threats are together and coming out the same Stitch. So now you make a knit.. (The first part of tying a shoe) once and then a second time. Not too tight, don't want to mess up the face. After making that loose shoelace type not you cut the threads, Maybe a centimeter long. Now use crochet hook to push that knot threw into the head. I hope these tips help. A bubble art of emoji thank you for showing me how to do the face. I love this face with the eyelashes ❤️ I just didn't know how to do it in the proper order so the yarn isn't stuck on one end. Thank you ❤️

Sweetness, I have one more tip about the reading the darn ons the needle. Even the fattest worsted weight yarn or number 5 bulky will go onto your needle easily with this tip! Take the thread and wrap one loop around the needle. Pinch it close with your fingers and pull the needle out. Now you have the thread and it's folded in half so there is no raw Edge like yarn can get and be difficult to thread. So you push the end of that Loop through the eye of the needle.. It's saved me so much time! Hope it helps ❤️

I just finished making my bunny rabbit face that I crocheted with crushed velvet. The face you demonstrated is beautiful ❤️ thank you so much sweetness! As soon as I'm done with this comment I am going to share this video on Pinterest. ❤️ I hope it helps grow your Channel. Lastly, I have to say you are obviously such a lovely human being.. It's so you when the thread comes off and you sort of in your soft-spoken voice say oh it came off again. It tickles me because I struggle with frustration, and I find myself doing a Charlie Brown "Good grief!" 😂 😂 😂 be well sweetness

Very clear, thank you. Do you really not need to fasten off the yarn? I'm always paranoid the yarn will be snagged and the stitch will fall out.

It is up to you, you can knot it at the end if you want. But, if it does come undone you can always redo it. I've never had an issue with this method though 😊

It shouldn't unravel but if you are really worried about it you can knot the yarn before cutting it. I'm glad you enjoyed this video!
