Love this. I bought the machine and have not had a chance to unbox it. I honestly didn’t think about appliqué when I bought it. Now I have so many thoughts of things I can do for my granddaughters. Thank you for showing me how to do it. With be watching for more.

One additional note on the downloading and use of other flash drives... I'm using a Chromebook for internet and I wondered if I downloaded designs to a flashdrive on its USB dock if the files would still work on the Singer machine. Yes they do!! Now I don't have to transfer files to a Windows computer first then copy to a USB for the Singer machine -- yay!!☺

I use to change my bobbin thread out as I changed colors. Haha! I don’t know why. I just leave it white now and I buy pre-spun bobbins on Amazon and just swap it out as I need to. That way I don’t have to stop and re spool a bobbin. I started doing in the hoop zippered bags. Oh it’s just so addicting! I spent so much on supplies, lol! I’d love to see you do a patch. I haven’t tried that yet. ❤

I don't mind winding embroidery thread bobbins. I normally leave the bobbin white...unless black would work better with the design. For in the hoop projects, you'll want nice bobbin thread...depending on the design. I know, I have spent too much, too!! lol! I am thinking about doing a patch video but I am not happy with patch embroidery program pricing!

Well, the 2.0 8GB SanDisk Cruzer Blade thumb drives work great in the machine. All the Singer files copied to it perfectly and work normally -- yay!! Other files I bought and copied to it work as well. ☺

Thanks for the follow up! I’ll make sure to mention that in my next video. Like I said, I don’t have any thumb drives to use unless I order a couple. I guess singer just wants $99 for a replacement of that one, but it’s not necessary at all. Like there’s nothing on there other than those extra designs that aren’t my favorite anyway!

Oh good!! I'm interested in applique and downloaded a bunch of designs by Juju today.☺I also just received some 2.0 8GB flash drives to see if they will work on the machine.

I forgot that I had already had several designs from JuJu in my computer but didn’t have the Embrillance Embroidery Software. I do have the same design you are demonstrating from JuJu😊.

Just an FYI, I think the spools you are using are meant to be placed horizontally on the spool holder. It can affect the tension. ❤

That is CRAZY! I am familiar with their software and programs, they are pretty basic. I hope they have stepped it up in the last few years. Fingers crossed!

@@VianneyCreates yes. I opened the box and had everything set on counter. Left town came home two days later and wrapped it up and put it all back in box. I’ve had it sitting by front door waiting to take to UPS today. I’ve watched your videos and now I’m thinking about keeping. I even bought all the things except basting spray, and colored thread. I wish you had a live question and answer

⁠@@VianneyCreatesmy question is: I could really use some suggestions on which Embrilliance Embroidery Software I should consider purchasing (Mac of course) this is my first experience with embroidery but I have been sewing for many many many years. I don’t need to tear up the embroidery world but I want to be able to no have my hands tied with what I can do (over time and learning curve. Will you be having maybe an embroidery segment once a month or something to follow? I will also look for other videos but I enjoy your no nonsense style🤗
