The first real step by step. Input the perimeter and it automatically sets diameter. 100 power speed 125. Color select. I don’t understand why the only jet videos skip this. Thank you. I’m at work now. Can’t wait to get home to try

Can this etch glass?

I haven't tried it yet, but my understanding is that a diode cannot truly etch glass, but it can mark it with the help of Cermark marking spray or tempura or chalk paint. I will try it, but I usually etch glass with Armour Etch because it does such a beautiful job. I've never etched glass with any laser, even my CO2 ones. But it will be interesting to see how it goes:)

May I ask which jig did you order?

I first ordered a jig from Etsy. It's a 3D printed very hard plastic stair-step type jig. Similar to one you receive with the rotary, but much longer. I don't really love it and it barely makes it where the entire tumbler is in the working area, so where the jig touches it is not in the working area. Then I ordered a different one from Amazon that goes inside the tumbler and I think it is going to be wonderful! I will be playing with how to attach it to the machine this evening and if it is as great as I hope, I will provide a link to it. If it is not, I don't want anyone wasting their money. I will let you know, though.
