I do that that towards the bottom of the bag. The stuff on top is fine. I load it in with a scoop.

Use a colander. It has larger holes. Works great.

I have read that fine pellet dust is harmful to health, so I wouldn't shake them in a sieve to remove the dust. Or I'd suggest finding a safe way to do it. so as to avoid spreading the dust in the air.

I just wait for a windy day. Empty them into a different container and let the wind do the work.

Thank you! I was just thinking that this would work. I’ve had my grill stop cooking 3 times. I cleaned the grill & it’s still shutting off. I remember thinking that I bought cheap pellets on sale and they seemed dusty. I think using a colander should work (or throw them all away & buy expensive again. Ugh

You are putting way to many pellets in the sieve for it to clean out the dust fines properly.

Yeah you are right mate - I have since bought a big metal colander which works much better.
