normally ı run the catia v5r21 it is not problem as in admin mode, but admin mode in drafting text font arial are not found error in admin mode in drafting mode there are onlu this font type SSS4 SSS3 SSS3

sir, how to chnage arrow size in catia drafting

thanks a lot Mr.Walden,straight forward except the "catia_admin" folder that I created it manually.I launched as admin successfully but the tap\thread symbolic representation option in the options\part-design is still grayed out with a red lock beside it,how can I unlock that?

If you successfully entered admin mode - all options which can be changed are available. Maybe it depends on your license-bundle.

@@rasoolyavari8515 usually you have to activate thread-analysis to see the symbols. Which catia version do you use, because I know that option only from catia v6

@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training yes I have thread analysis,I use V5-6,my hope was to have a representation without analysis,as I googled some guys say thread symbolization may lead to slowing down the graphics and that's why CATIA doesn't have it,if that be true so why does it exist in the options if it's not gonna get used?!I don't know.

@@rasoolyavari8515 sorry in my catia v5 there is no such option. Sometimes feature are shut off because they don ´t work yet.

Hi Wolfgang thank you for this video. i have followed your instructions but when i try to activate catia in admin role it says it can not wright to the catia_admin folder. i have changed all the read/ wright permissions of this folder but nothing seems to work. Do you have any ideas on how i could solve this please ? i need the admin role to overcome the problem of not being able to resize the drop down command window in the prismatic machining work bench. i can resize windows in other work benchs.

Sorry, no idea. There is a one day training for catia admins only, which I´ve never attended. Therefore my knowledge regarding this topic is kind of limited.

Hi, in the properties of a dimension there are some options not active. If you use admin mode those will be active, then you might be able to change the size.
