I just done this on my 2005 Modus without this video. My model does not have a little button. Use the wheel to get to the number you want then just gently pull the wheel in (towards you) like a paddle switch and it will lock the digit in place. When you enter the final digit and lock it in your radio will spring into life. I found this by trial and error, took me all of 1 minute to work it out. Just thought I would put it on here to help out.

You can also use buttons 1-4 to increment the digit at positions 1-4 respectively

I just did that (and held number 6 button in to confirm when all four numbers entered as think l read that somewhere) and it worked. So thankyou.

Thank you Tim, I have a question. When I tried to enter the true code that I got from Renault service, it didn't accept and kept beeping. I think I was supposed to press the button "6" on the radio. But I guess I tried entering so many times, now it only shows the text "CODE" on the screen. How can I get rid of this "CODE" message, and pass it to the code entering phase?

Hi! Does it go back to 0000? or does it say anything else? I had my code in the cars papers from dealer. I think you can restart the process by disconnecting the battery and connect again, repeat the process as I did. Hope you solve the problem. Thanks // TIM

@@TimPhoenixTV Zeros didn't reappear yet, but I will try disconnecting the battery as you said. I got the code from Renault service by giving them the chassis and motor numbers. I'll try pushing the button "6" next time to validate the code. I hope it solves my problem, thank you Tim!

If you've got the right code (check the books) then the radio should start or work just as normal.
