The sand one, I'm quite sure that's not safe. If they eat the uncooked flour they can get very ill and considering it's a 1 year old he will be bound to eat it, my son puts everything in his mouth and tastes everything so, it would be good if you mention that flour should be cooked/toasted first.

Thanks for the ideas on keeping my son busy! Another thing my wife and I like to do with him is finger paint on a small canvas with non toxic paint, obviously you want to keep a close eye on your child if you do this to make sure they don’t put any in their mouth. It’s a fun activity that allows them to be creative and makes a keepsake you can show them when they’re older!

I tend to find that the way for kids to play longer on their own is to just let them be messy but I do like hte Melissa & Doug Water Wow books for totally mess free or painting with water is also fairly mess free. Wishing you all the best I'm sure it's near impossible to work full time and take care of a little one right now!

When you are going through difficult times in your life, don't isolate yourself. There are people who have been through what you might be facing right now and they overcame it. Don't push people away, surround yourself with people who are spiritually mature and get the help that you need. Isolation when you are in pain and don't know if there's a way out is dangerous and that's why we have suicide cases. Listen, there's nothing that you can be facing that God is not able to solve for with God nothing is impossible. Hold on. Jesus loves you.

Oh no lol! Making a mess is definitely my son's favorite part and though he's still a little too young to totally understand that he needs to keep everything in the bin I try to reinforce that. Although in the end if he plays for 20 minutes and I clean for 5 I consider that worth it, but totally understand that's not always how it goes!

What about going outside and let him play with other kids not staying in the house all day?? Idk I'm looking to make an schedule for my one year old son, but I don't want him in the house all day, I want him to see more plp and be social, play with other kids bcos He's the only baby and he is in a daycare where he has all the things I mentioned, but I'm thinking to take him out bcos I'm not making enough to pay it, so I don't know what to do , keep killing myself to pay it so he can have all the things mentioned, or stay in the house and try to do activities, go outside, I wanna workout, go to the play yard, idk... Someone get me an advice

I love your ideas but unfortunately I have a problem with using food as play objects/toys. There are so many kids hungry for food and to see this kind of play is disturbing. Yes they can eat the pasta but they are also using it to play with and in the end it will go in the trash.

I like the play dough, the sand, and the dirt. I just can't take the pasta beong wiped on the floor 🙊 and then put into mouth... uh, and the paint brush in the cup of yogurt 🤔, on the board, table, into mouth. The kid will surely develop a "dugyot" attitude.

This is not teaching your child discipline. When they star to get older they will resent the mother for not teaching them discipline. Also when you go to someones house they will surely embarrass you.

All good but DONT TEACH CHILDREN THAT FOOD IS A GAME. Food should be respected. And only on the plate. A lot of people especially in these times would love to have some pasta and we give it to children to play with and we are teaching them to disrespect food.
@MyJewishMommyLife
@MyJewishMommyLife 4 жыл бұрын
I understand what you are saying and definitely feel that way sometimes, however, I want my children to interact with the natural world and not think that only plastic toys are for learning and play. We reuse most of these sensory items like the rice again and again and they're very inexpensive which is great for a lot of families.
@anaslavinec6840
@anaslavinec6840 4 жыл бұрын
@@MyJewishMommyLife I bet you don't reuse the spagethi from the floor. Teach the children from young age the value of food. Food should be on the plate not on the floor and less in the trash bin. I believe the western world has such a cheap abundance of food that we have our asses full of every but even though it is not right to throw away food. One day you have nothing to put on the plate, then you remember all the food you have thrown out
