@edi98923 жыл бұрын
@@theautodidacticman_ In order of their importance: 1) something for _cutting_ 2) something for _combustion_ (a fire kit including tinder) 3) a water _container_ (ideally one that can be used for cooking as well) 4) something to create _cover_ (could be a cloak, kilt, tarp... Anything that can work as a rain cover on you, as a makeshift bed or tent) 5) _cordage_ to tie things together, make shelters and traps, nets, hammocks... It doesn't matter if we're talking about Vikings, medieval Pilgrims, Buddhist traveling monks, Cowboys... They all carried a version of the 5Cs. That's how important these things were to them. Today, people who go for camping, or prepare a Big out Bag carry 101 things, but that's not how things would have been, especially if you have to carry it all on yourself for every single day...

@lucifermorningstar37093 жыл бұрын
@@andik70 no, it would not. Think about it from the point of view of the person who his performing the choke hold. If the person they were choking suddenly tried to flip on their back, it’s going to be very easy to keep the choke and simply fall on their back as well. They have the upper hand and all of the momentum, so all they would have to do, is lean slightly forwards, and the other person doesn’t have the leverage in order to perform a flip. An even bigger reason as to why this wouldn’t work, is because, generally when performing a choke, you then want to pull them down onto their back in the first place, because they then have nowhere to go. Also remember, once someone has another person in a choke hold, it’s a matter of seconds before they pass out, so it’s pretty hard to muster the strength in order to flip over, in those precious few seconds.

The most basic thing is to try to pull the hand that's behind your head in front of you and down. Don't worry about the arm around your neck as much, cause you're not getting it off with the other one locking it in. You should also keep your chin tucked as he's going for it so he's not choking you (but having your chin / jaw cranked will be uncomfortable). Once you have the locking arm down in front of you, try to get your head outside of the arm then turn in towards him. You'll end up in his guard so you're not safe, but it's safer than him having your back. Keep in mind too that if it's fully locked in, you're basically screwed. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so do your best to not let him get in position.

Maybe. But here are my theories as to why you got recommend after your brother told you the video: 1) The video was already popular, it was recommended to many people, meaning that you just might get recommend because of the video's popularity 2) Google might find relations of your Google account (the one you are using right now for youtube) with your brother's account because you are related. So it might recommend stuff that he watched. I doubt this one is true though. 3) Google tech is everywhere, it is listening to you. If you know how to grapple then get to the ground and try to land on top of him. I tried to chocke a friend of mine who had been doing mma for 6 years and I had no experience yet and he did this and it worked
@nicksalvatore57173 жыл бұрын
@@IamJigle Breaking fingers or toes was a very well known and common tactic in Greek Pankration fights. It was the main counter to any chokehold, but it’s illegal in modern MMA. However I’d say it’s not reliable due to the very high adrenaline situation that is an unprovoked attack.
@one4all8853 жыл бұрын
@Some Person the guys right arm was secured by his left arm. Meaning what your saying wouldn't work unless someone is chocking you right. Sure if the guy is chocking you one handed not properly securing that arm with the other then yeah, go for the fingers to pull down. Pulling down on the wrist won't do anything. That's just like trying to push or pull a door open from the side that has hinges. Not as easy to do compared to the other end.
@Ironborn43 жыл бұрын
@Some Person rnc has only 1 defence sequence and it is very low success rate. If the choke is in properly, the chance is pretty much 0. The defence is: 1. Tuck chin in. 2. Grab the securing hand behind your head as quickly as possible and peel it away from your head 3. Loosen up the choking arm. 4. Turn body to get chest-2-chest. Stuff like finger pulling could help in removing the hand behind the head but honestly, it's just a small tactic that doesn't work that often. If the guy has his hand behind your head already, you're pretty much dead. All he needs to do is tuck his head in to protect his hand and squeeze for 10 seconds
