Stay tuned to our instagram on auctioning off the limo. Still finding which charity we are going to give the proceeds to. Also, ask any questions y’all may have about how to do the euro. I’ll monitor the comments and respond. Thanks fellas!

Tip, stick a screwdriver in the ear canal and pop those out. Gets rid of cartilage and gives another access point to the brains

Very similar tactics to what I’ve been doing. I’ve never had to wrap the antlers. No discoloration. I’ve done about 10 or so. Great video.

Great video. One tip: pop/drill out the ear bones underneath. Makes it a lot easier to clean out the brain cavity, and gets a lot of cartilage out that is mixed in with those bone clusters.

Compressed air might work to blow out the nasal passage and brain cavity. I've also used a brass brush to brush off that layer of fat/meat that just won't come off the bone. Great job on the mounts, I'm going to try that salon stuff next time to whiten it

Awesome.. thx for all you taught me & the masterclass was awesome. Made numerous mock scrapes & waiting on total leaves to fall to refurbish my micro plot with winter wheat. Also got a shot at a beautiful buck on your 2 day daylight tip on trail camera activity! Hope to see you at ATA this year in Missouri if you can make it.

I’m not an expert either but I did a couple of euros and I bought the peroxide 45 crème in a 1/2 gallon jug from a hair salon and did the same thing as you did but the crème was white and it made it very easy to tell where I had applied it on the skull and where I hadn’t. May be helpful in the future.

Lee, one thing I do different is getting the 40 or 50% peroxide but in the "paste form". Paint it on, wrap the skull in saran wrap, and put in oven on "keep warm" around 170 degrees. Place pan or foil under skull bc some will drip out. Keep oven door cracked during the process, I just use an oven mit. In 30 mins your skull will be white and done.

you can also bury your skull, unskinned. cover with tote and cover antlers with aluminum foil. wait 6 months and boom, clean skull. leave natural color or bleach it. I used to take it to a guy with beetles for $90 which was a great deal but tried the free method and i like it a lot

What I do when I have it all clean is use the 40% creame rinse product. It is thicker and will brush on. Then wrap the skull with cling wrap and let it sit over night. Take wrap off and rinse off all the creame. It will go much farther than the 40% liquid.

You don’t have to wrap the antlers when you boil it, it might help but I’ve done it without it and haven’t noticed a problem. I also find it easier to use the 40 volume cream and paint it on the skull and wrap it in plastic and just leave it for a few hours and that gets it very white.

They sell that peroxide hair stuff in a cream as well and you can brush it on thick and let it sit on there. You can put a good layer on the parts that are harder to get white.

These look great. I do them very similar. Except I put borax in the water when I boil and I used a gel peroxide. I paint it onto the head and gently place some plastic wrap over it for a few hours. I repeat that until I’m happy with how white I get the head.

Exactly how I do it, good job, but I would use the crème peroxide. I used to use that liquid but a $10 dollar 32 ounce of cream will do about 5 heads and get them pitch white. Just a thought.

I did my son's a few years ago and am also "not an expert." Because of that I did end up bleaching the very bottom part of the antler a little bit. I had some wood furniture stain laying around and applied very light coats with a Q-tip until I got it back to the shade I thought looked the most natural. You'd never be able to tell now. Hope this helps someone if you goof up a bit.

Lee very nice!! A couple things.. Maybe get a Havalon that blade is great to work with especially around the pedicles and get the hand held stretch wrap and tape it on the antlers it holds up way better than kitchen wrap. Just saying buddy. That liquid 40 came out really good!! I always used the paste but that’s way easier. I also use borax in my boil.

Taxidermist here the best way by far is massarasion just a water heater and water. then simmer in peroxide for a few mins to degreases way better then dawn then when there still wet add the 40vol peroxide let sit for 24 hours wash off with water then set in the sun until dry then you will have to super glue some peices because the massarasion remove s all tissue all is left is done no scapeing or anything
