I tried that greeting and my property manager immediately shut me down and said that greeting “sounds weird” and he preferred that I say “Thanks for calling _____. I’m _____. How can I help you?” But I absolutely agree with you that answering the phone asking, “How can I help you?” implies you WILL help them, before you even know what they’re calling about. If you have any suggestions on how to overcome this with my manager, I’m open to hearing your feedback. I’ve gained so much from watching your videos.
