Way back in 2012 I wrote a blog post about my export settings for high definition videos in Premiere Pro. That post went on to become one of the most popular posts on my site. Wanna know what the second most popular post was? My video export settings for Instagram videos in Premiere Pro.
There's a trend here, and I realized that with the advent of 4K video, I had the opportunity to create a new text and video tutorial about the settings that I use when shooting with my Sony A7Sii. As I prepared to create this tutorial, I decided that this would be the perfect time to revisit those posts about my high definition and Instagram export settings, and create videos for them as well. Today you can watch my 4K export settings tutorial, and in the near future, I'll be posting videos about my settings for high definition and Instagram exports.
Still only exporting 1080p? Watch my video on 1080p export settings here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gF7CfqqqfMZ7oKM
Have Premiere 2022 or newer? Here's how to export 4K: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGXVoJ2MapmFnM0

Matt WhoisMatt Johnson so CBR is better quality wise for KZbin than vb2 pass?
@alexkooistra
@alexkooistra 7 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. But I think what Matt it saying is with a CBR around 100 you always have headroom even for fast moving/high detail content. So the need for a slower 2 pass is not necessary.

Correct, CBR will usually result in higher quality video on KZbin due to the compression that KZbin adds after you upload.

One of my daughters is a child actor and we have to submit videos of her scenes all of the time. What happens when you export a source of 1080p to a 2160 @ 4k? I've accidentally done that and it didn't seem to lose anything... just made the rendering much longer and a bigger file...
