@Malvern there is no copy the data option for Zeta potential distribution. So how can reproduce the data in Excel?

Hi, whenever I export the correlation function or the intensity distribution I don't have values of X (sizes). "Copy the data ..." option does not exist in my version of the software and I can't reproduce the graph on excel. Could you leave a link to update the software version?

Hi Saul, thanks for posting the comment, the latest version of Nano software is 8.02 and can be found here -> www.malvernpanalytical.com/en/support/product-support/zetasizer-range/zetasizer-nano-range. We did check and the copy function for intensity and correlation functions are exporting the X classes in both cases, as shown in the video, so if you still have issues please contact your local MP representative

@@MalvernPanalytical Thank you so much for replying. I had some ancient version of the software. It works perfectly as I needed.

@Malvern I need to know if we can study the emulsion size distribution with the DLS. I see some people publish it. Also, what's the difference between over size and under size and which values are better to report regarding size distribution for emulsions for example.

Hi Fahad, thanks for your question. As with most things the answer is “it depends”. If the emulsion droplet upper size is a few um’s or lower then DLS may well work well for your emulsions, especially if they are either not too concentrated or can be diluted with the continuous phase. You maybe best talking to your local MP office/representative for more specific advice. As for under size and over size, typically most users would use a frequency curve to visualize the size distribution - but undersize or oversize maybe useful if you want to directly read/estimate the percentage above or below a certain size class - but that is user case specific and entirely up to you and your needs.
