How to Export Webflow Code for Free + Badge Removal

Exporting code for your Webflow site for free? It's definitely possible! In this video, I’ll show you how to do it.

I've been wondering if it's possible to export the code of your Webflow site for free.
And I found a method that doesn't require you to pay for any subscription.
The method I'll show you is a bit technical. But if you follow what I'm doing, step by step. You'll be able to export code from your Webflow site as well.

This video is a lifesaver. Kudos to you. Also, to remove the webflow badge, in your html file, locate the anchor tag with class "w-webflow-badge" and delete it.

Figured it out. You need to remove the badges in the .css file and keep the last one and change the display to: none

This blew my mind, I'm going to try it and let you know if it still works, i tried it with framer but the CSS gave me a denied access error, can you please make a tutorial on this with framer?

That's because they are obviously fetching some keys via json or js connections. And that key will have to match their key. Usually, it'll be your key with an additional add on. And they're almost always base64 encoded. Use a base64 decoder and see any weird strings that may be calling out to an api

Once you've exported a site, if you cancel ther webflow subscription, can you after some time create a new subscription and add the website back in? Would it work or do you need a running subscription?

Unofrtunately, even if you paid for a Webflow plan, you won't be able to export CMS.
