That's an ONT.. Cum router.. It is dual band and can cover upto 1000-1200 Sqft.. Approx 2BHK homes single floors. With good speeds. If you have bigger house then you have to buy another router and extend his your Wi-Fi using this method..

If your both Routers supports 1000 Mbps it will be 1000 Mbps.

Also, In my bsnl FTTH router, the wifi gets disconnected automatically and after some retry to connect it again connects (its just the wifi, internet is working) while I am in the same room. I have tried 3 different routers ont (all from bsnl vendor Genexis, Technxt, Digisol - all 2.4 ghz) the issue is there in all 3. The wifi shows as no internet and disconnects. After router restart or after sometime it works again. I use 6-8 devices in wifi... Can you help me in finding why this is happening? Also will adding a 5ghz router in bridge could solve the issue?

@@rachitbansal6067 I think this is happening because of heat. I checked and found that the router's temperature was reaching 60 degrees. I made a cooling fan from a PC brush less fan and powered it with a 12v adapter. Temperature remains below 40 now. Also I am using genexis router now.

I have Airtel Fiber connection hand they provided Dragon Path device. Its range is good for ground floor but not for 1st floor. I have Jio Fiber's router . i have connected Jio Router with Airtel's Dragon Path router. now able to access internet through JIO Fiber. But in few seconds Jio Fiber's device start blinking red light. and net not working.. could you please help.
