Hi, im new to sapphires and gems. Have recently acquired a few small rough sapphires from some wash i bought at Sapphire QLD... and just wondering how to make them shiney. Im not bothering with faceting as too expensive. Just want to put in small jar on window ledge in sun and see them glisten. Possibly tumble ? If so, how do you do that. Someone said soak them in gliserine but didn't work. Thanks Sue
