Wrong. Here is step by step. Hold power button. Then when the turn off/emergency screen appears tap and hold the screen for 10 seconds then let go then put it back on the charger and factory reset it it says easy as that. Make sure it’s on the charger while this happens.

For those that it is not working for, hold down the main button first and then when the emergency sliders pop up, don’t click out of it, just hold down the crown.

@@Imdakybando if you updated to the newer watch OS version you have to press the power off button in the top right hand corner of the SOS screen(do not slide to turn off) then hold the crown and connect to power source to reset factory settings

OK make sure it’s on the charger when you do the set up. It should work as long as you have the password to reset it.

If you have it locked, there’s no way for someone to unlock it. It’s encrypted in encoded it would have to be jailbroken to make it work.
