For a GarageBand beginner like me, that was helpful. Thanks!

Good Tip Patrick!!! Word of warning - long slow fades at end of project MAY affect global volume of your track - sometimes the algorithm will be faked out by the fade. The "end of project" thingy helps - ALWAYS cut your projects end as close to last signal as possible. Also here's an Automation TIP: You can Cut n Paste automations; merely drag your cursor over the automation dots you want to copy to "select" the dots and then place your "head" cursor to where you want the automation to go - Command C to copy the automation and Command V to paste it down wherever the tape "head" (cursor) is. Say you want a fake "pump" sound to a drum or synth Bass - you can just Command V over and over again at each note beginning to copy the "pump" easily - this if you don't or can't mess with side chaining and such like big boy pants Logic has which of course allows this effect with no manual cut n pasting. Cheers !! . 🎶

Thanks for this. I was doing fades for the tracks individually - this helps a lot!

Whenever I export my tracks, the volume is super low compared too stuff on SoundCloud or Spotify. I don’t know how to fix this😢

Before exporting your track, head to GarageBand's settings and UN-check the box marked 'Auto Normalize".
