How to FARM EXP and MONEY FAST in Persona 3 Reload (Tutorial)

Before any asks I've always referred to the rare shadows as Golden Handshakes LOL. But rare shadow, treasure hands etc. all work fine... Let me know if this method works for you or if there are any other methods I should know about 👀 As always, thanks for watching!

here are a few tips for late game farming: - you can clear a full block, come back to the beginning of the block and just skip to next floor until you find a strong or rare shadow. killing regular enemies will be a waste of time - do solo runs: you gain more XP this way because otherwise you share the XP you get with other party members (you still have to share XP with fuuka since she's always with you). you can't finish with an all out attack anymore this way, so maybe going in with a team of two people might be more worth it? (for strong enemies that have a weakness at least)

For late game , fuse helel, you get theurgy, Armageddon which does 10k damage and kills reaper instantly

Don't mentioned the reaper farm method after completing the monk and business man Sociallink routes, you can basically can kill the reaper every night for 300k-400k exp and 100k yen

Is no one going to talk about the devil card that doubles what items you get? Have that on while farming gold hands and you'll be getting double the rare coins. im about half way through the game but i make sure i have fool, justice, and devil at least. I also like to start from the beginning and farm the pillars and enemies for the hp and sp items. Also the normal and rare chests help fill up the coffers as well. It doesnt feel like im making the most of my visit if i dont do that. Helps me save money on healing items too.

I did everything in it and lvl 86 rn. There’s nothing to do honestly as of jan. Only thing kept me hooked is the story. P5R>P3R>P4G

to me P3 has the best story, P4 has the best characters and music, P5 has the best dungeons and combat (even though its a piece of piss and outside early game on hard I didn't die a single time)

Additional Tip: The Arcana Cards that you choose during Shuffle Time matters, ALOT! Try getting the Justice and Devil arcana (which will appear after a few months ingame) Justice: Lets you pick 1 More during Shuffle Time, you can get EXP and Money at the same time. Devil: Doubles your obtained items in Tartaurus, basically 2X-ing your Valuables (from breakables) and Enemy Loots (Golden Hand’s Coins) Did this trick while doing a full Tziah block run (Tziah 1&2) and i got 500.000+ from the Valuable Materials ALONE (I maybe got less from Shuffle Time but i forgot) Also an Important Tip for grinding money is to always have Yukari and MC have De-Ailment skills (or Items) to Heal Confused members, i once had them throw away 80.000 in 1 turn and that was NOT fun.

A good strat for sure, came up with that one on my own, yet there's one issue. Due to how ATLUS made exp gain formulas in the game, or call it whatever you like, the higher level you are, the less exp you get from the same enemy, it worked like this in persona 5 as well, as i remember. So in a while, you have to stop clearing tartarus, because it's just pointless and takes to much time. Going through my first playthrough on merciless, and once i got level 30 on tartarus, on 68 floor, the exp gain beacame so low, that i just had to stop grind and actually play the game, lol.

Btw u can buy the thing in the club for 100k yen which gives u 15% exp buff, dunno if you noticed this or nah

That's the Avaricious Ring. You can also get an Avaricious Amulet that boosts the wearer's EXP gain by +50%. I believe it's obtained later in the game, as I have one on me. I can't for the life of me remember how I got it though, and Google is no help here either as everyone seems to only be talking about the Ring.

Is there no other way to get more than usual exp? Because I just started and a guide recommends to get lvl 12 in the first Tartarus tutorial, but man it took me hours to reach lvl 11 and i can’t do it anymore, I get barely any exp. I don’t have access to fortune teller

Unfortunately, early game grind and trying to complete Tartarus in one night is difficult and tedious... Try this, lower the difficulty to peaceful and just have the MC in your party. That way when you earn EXP, that EXP goes straight to you and your Personas rather than split amongst everyone else.

Wish there some no exp mode or sum… I just want level up personas for moves… don’t wanna over level the mc. Oh well, maybe I shouldn’t be making builds for personas early in the game lmao.

It can be frustrating in the early game because your social links are not high enough rank to provide the EXP bonuses. This method can still be done, just lower the difficulty and keep using the Persona you want to level up. It is grindy but you'll get what you want eventually.

Justice let's you draw two cards, the one that makes all out attacks stronger (I think magician), the fool which increases exp gain, and the one that increases items received from enemies

Fool for increased XP, Star and Justice for getting extra cards in shuffle time, Death for increased item rewards, the card that increases social link XP during fusions (for personas with high XP requirements to level up), and the card that lets you fuse personas 5 levels higher than your max. Those are the ones I found to be most helpful.

I always take the xp increase, 2 additional card picks and the lovers card, which gives you extra xp bonus on persona fusions until you leave Tartarus. Close to endgame, there's also one that allows you to fuse personas 5 levels above yours. After that, take whatever. Ps: Extra dmg on All-Out Attacks is pretty good, also.

I usually take Fool (more exp), Priestess (increase aoa dmg), Justice (pick 2 cards) and then later in the game you get ones that increase HP and SP which I always take!

I useally just fuse by results and get the ones not in my compendium that should useally give you good ones I always try to have 1 persona with all auto buffs(and pierce + blunt attack skill) and 1 with all elements(easy if you use skill cards) to hit weaknesses if you do that then you can hit weaknesses for all out attacks(obviously not working against enemies without weakness but I use junpei + rebellion to get criticals on those) also debuffing your enemies is always nice I useally use my allies for that though Edit: debuffing atk and def is self explanatory but debuffing Accuracy/'Evasion makes criticals more likely(atleast I think they do) then other debuffs might not work on all bosses that are worth using are: confuse(op but doesn't work on most bosses) freeze(makes criticals way more likely) poison(pretty sure it does percentile dmg great on tanky enemies without weaknesses) and dizzying(hitting a enemy while it's down has a chance of dizzying which makes them skip a turn) is great for a free healing/buffing turn

Is there a method for farming exp for personas or is this just as viable? Cause trying to do the Elizabeth requests are pain with the dlc it always ends up making me fuse a dlc persona 👨‍🦯

This is just as viable but you will need to have the Persona 'equipped' (basically the last used Persona in battle) for it to gain EXP... BUT you can fuse one with Growth if you need or lower the difficulty and quickly farm that way.
