Same! My mother normalized tanning when I was younger. We live in South Florida and the sun is already horrible! I’m glad I realized how damaging it was before I turned 30 but 100% wish I was taught at a much younger age.

Haha honestly I love this. I just think it’s cute. My Inlaws would always fuckin basically harass me when me and my partner would come back from vacation without Tans. They thought we just stayed inside all time like doin drugs or something. When really. WE WEAR FUCKIN SUNSCREEN. and he didn’t before me. I do love my MIL and she had a couple moles removed to be checked. And she’s a retired nurse. But she said she was still using just a moisturizer with small amount of SPF. I have a bunch of sunscreens so I gave her my Nivea Hydro Boost spf50 and also a bottle of Canmake Mermaid gel because I bought multiple bottles lol.

Tan lines are kinda cheap looking tbh... kinda like girls showing off their thongs with low-rise jeans in the early 2000s. No offense to you personally, but the idea presented. (It's just the vibes it's giving me 😂) My suggestion if anyone is looking to apply makeup for a temporary look, would be to just bronze your shoulders and mid chest. Then apply a setting spray so it doesn't get on any fabrics. ...and please everyone, for goodness sake, wear your SPF regularly!! 🤗

Tan lines are super popular in Brazil. They’ll even put electrical tape on their bodies to make the perfect lines. There’s even a tanning salon that does this there and they do reapply sun screen to their clients though while they tan in the sun.
