Man I love these books, I read them all as a kid but I originally read them out of order, I started reading them all again in order not long after and got to 5 but the book went missing about half way through and I never finished reading them in order which is something I have deeply regretted for many years. But now thanks to these videos I have finally heard the full story in order, having listened to them since about November. Thanks

David Tennant is the one who read the books. He is an actor. He played Barty Crouch Jr in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as well as the 10th Doctor in Doctor Who, he was in Jessica Jones, and the newer Duck Tales cartoon, as well as many other roles. He was even in the httyd movies. But you're absolutely right. He did a fantastic job and made it incredibly engaging and emotional!

This one is really great but it makes me sad because the ending is bitter sweet. I listened to 4 and 6 the most because they are still lighthearted and really funny. And maybe my favorite quote from this series is from the 4th book; "not impossible, just imorobable". I find this quote really comforting for when i feel down and powerless sometimes. But there are so many other great quotes and life lessons in these books. I just really love them soooooooooo much. ❤

"Rhowrl" Damn man, i´m really Crying at and about Furious' Death. 😭 - No Furious, No.... 😢 - Lost his Human / Rider (Hiccup the II.) and felt nothing more than Anger, Hatred, and thursted for Revenge after that, changed once again and Dies after all. - Awesome Book, The Books (ORIGINAL CANON) are so much better than the Movies and Series man indeed !!! - I really understand why Furious acted so. - Why, DWA´s fools don´t thought about to base it way more on the Original over here on which its all Originally based on ?! - 2nd Book i´m checking out and hearing to now, after Book 11: HTBADH and Snotloud´s Death and Sacrifice was already shocking and surprising. - The Books are so Good.

I agree. But when I mentioned this to my said "kids don't want to sit through 12 movies" and then I said "then why adapt it at all?" And she said "maybe they thought the concept of vikings and dragons and a wimpy hero was interesting and didn't want to face any problems so they said it's an adaptation" which made sense to me. But I'm just as bummed as the next person regardless
