This is so relatable! It reminds me of when I was nursing a baby and 3yr old twin boys!!!! To make it worse, hubby was not fully based in the uk then, I had to rely on some church member's help..it was a though time for me...sometimes I will just sit and cry wen all was overwhelming for me....Glory to God, my baby's are now 11yrs,11yrs and 8yr old....Pele Yetunde, you will just be fine, continue to take a day at a time.and seeing your champions grow will always be your joy! Sending you lots of love💕

Thank you for this! So much wisdom, so relatable! I also read the supernatural childbirth and I kept asking God why my experience wasn't like the "supernatural experiences" that I had read. But now I know that my own experience was unique and that me being able to hold my child alone is in itself SUPERNATURAL! Thank you Yetunde.

Yes, of course you can do that. You can be your real honest self and even if not everyone will be accepting, you will be ministering to people like me.

I can relate with you dear. I have had 2 CS for both of my children. It’s all part of motherhood.for my first child I went through induction (the pain was excruciating)before surgery like your experience. And all of those experiences from my first birth and 2nd one. I couldn’t sleep for a month all these took a toll because I actually went through depression. I had to leave my home back to my family to get help with my baby so that I can finally get some sleep. But with God’s help I came out of it all. All these took place almost 10 years ago now and am completely healed. So it’s a phase that will pass and with God you’ll overcome.

I had similar experience in the UKbut thank God my baby was fine. I had issues with maternity careas i was a bit disappointed. I laboured for over 56 hrs, water broke 5 days before 2 failed inductions, 2 epidural as the first one feel out and finally EMCS. I cried for weeks as i was emotionally and physically overwhelmed, i struggled with my faith a bit, was sad but i remembered i could have died or lost my son. It was my first delivery experience. So thankful that God made me do the CS cos it could have been a sad delivery. That was 4 months ago.

Please, just come as you are. You’re fulfilling purpose being a mother and I genuinely celebrate your resilience. ❤ I love the habit of listening to the audio Bible. And yes, “Lord, as I study, open me up to your Word and open up your Word to me” is a prayer I say every single day before my quiet time, it just makes the Word settle in my heart. Once again, thank youuuu for sharing this vulnerable post. You are strengthened in Jesus’ name. Amen! ❤❤❤

Girl, this exact same thing happened to me at PRUH, SE London. I was forced an induction and its was so painful after 4 pessaries my body clearly wasnt ready and cervix was closed... lets not talk about the downright neglect and unprofessional nurses. We decided to take t to the courts because their neglect causes me and my Baby Sepsis! I am behind you, speaking up is so important.
