Tried this for the first Time today, had been doing v1 up to this point, fantastic exercises, the bird dogs in particular I can tell are going to help stay in the forward stance for longer

Bird Dog = Superman for those of us in the UK, lol. Seriously though, this was perfect, just what i was after. I started "Eastern Style" a few weeks ago and i am desperate to improve my wrist and grip strength, so thank you!

If you want to improve grip strength in particular, you can purchase a grip strengther/trainer, hang from a bar or make farmers walk with higher weight.

I like it :D I use active shield when I fight, even though we do not use the full taken zone.

There are some that might want to avoid Push ups and several exercises, but i think These are totaly worth it. Good against muscular imbalance as well which might accur without those exercises

I agree! There may be more specific shield exercises which would improve your shield skill more specific. But I would say you really need this basic strength to be a good martial artist with all its facets.
