Could you imagine if there were people like Apolition for every character? This game would be light-years worth of meta ahead of where it is now

Yeah, I'm actually a little jealous now.

Yeah, apolotion is the only reason I play greninja. If anybody else explained a character like he does that I liked more I would play them lol, but he has turned me to the frog side

This tutorial probably has more info about snake than any snake guide online. Congrats man, I didn't realize you could out-detail your previous guides, but you did it.

If you struggle against a certain character, go play that character for a week or two. You learn a lot about a character’s weaknesses when you experience those weaknesses

just watched this all the way through and my thoughts are: you are fucking insane, this was a goddamn knowledge shower on a matchup I've been personally struggling with as of late (actually amazing timing for that) amazing job, as always (even though this video was probably the best one you've done so far)
@apolotion2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! A ton of effort has gone into this video, so I'm incredibly proud of the end product. I agree with you, that it might be one of my best videos yet hahaha. Hopefully my feature length film can help you learn to beat Snake :)

I started playing Smash Ultimate around Christmas again after a long pause, wanting to learn it for real this time and thought of Greninja as a nice Character to Main... Then I found your Videos of the last Years about Greninja Yesterday, watched them all in one session, just because i was so amazed by the depth of Greninja. I wanted to say thank you so much for all the enormous effort you put into your videos, blasting it with this movie. I wish you a healthy and fun 2023.

Huge respect for actually going over all the people who helped and not just plugging in the description. Also taking all this time to provide proper guide on how to fight a character is super nice, there was so much I watched this is like 7 stages and dont even remember the first things which is crazy

Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. I'm so glad to have one of the most dedicated labbers ever play my favorite character. Not just for the information, but for the amount of time, effort, and love you put into this character and into the content you create. We need more people like you in the Smash community

Thank you so much for all the work you do. This really feels like everything i need to know and more about the matchup. To me Snake is the ultimate cheese character. With fermentations so convoluted that he still trips even the top players up. Only Apolition could do something like this. This information could truly put the matchup to bed. Maybe even knock Snake down a tier. As a g&w main and a gren secondary, I am truly terrified of future matchup guides. There are a LOT of common tactics that take advantage of fear and general ignorance. And once you figure a few things out about g&w, that matchup feels very dangerous and frustrating for him.

I really enjoyed the pacing of the video. Long guides like this are typically stripped out of a stream with no cuts which ruins the pacing if they're not getting the right interaction or they keep pausing when talking. I also enjoyed that you had relevant clips being used and the structure of the video flowing well. Didn't feel like an hour and 40min for me when watching
@apolotion2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't like to upload content that I wouldn't personally sit down and watch myself. A lot of effort has gone into highlighting relevant interactions, scriptwriting, and making edits to keep engagement. I'm super happy that you enjoyed the video!

If I’ve got one piece of advice it’s this.. stop rolling. Especially when getting tech chased. Jumping and dashing in n out are both are better options for MOST characters in neutral. Also neutral getup has less endlag and a lot of times opponents will dash right thru u. You can win many games just by calling out which way the opponent will roll.. cuz they will
