How to fill a Safefill bottle

Thank you. This is the best instructional video that I have seen. I have just purchased a 10kg safefill bottle and a set of drehmeister european adaptors It includes an extension adaptor as I have found out from other videos that some filling nozzles have a guard fitted to them which makes the nozzle impossible to fit onto the bottle. No more 'rip off' fuel prices. Thanks again.

Thank you for your fantastic comments! Just one thing - check the adaptors you've purchased fit the Safefill bottles, as most adaptors are right-handed thread where as the Safefill bottles are left-handed - we do sell all the adaptors as well as the bottles if required. Chris.. the connections are good. However, I now need an adaptor to fit into the safefill bottle. Just as well I checked. Any ideas ?

I'm afraid that I'm not aware of any adaptors that convert a Safefill into a right-handed thread.... Sorry! I know Safefill adaptors are more expensive (economies of volume - they are rarer!) than adaptors you can get elsewhere, but as they need to be left-handed - they are the only ones I'm aware of that fit! 🤷

@@chrisrigby1598 Hi Chis. After looking at all the adaptors and connections put my question incorrectly to you. I am looking for a 'pig tail 20inch long left hand screw in adaptor which will go from my van regulator into the safefill bottle. Sorry for the confusion. Hope you can help Steve

I bought an extension piece for the fill port. It was more trouble than it was worth. The problem is that you screw it on (left hand thread) which seals with an O ring, but it loosens when you attach the pump hose, (RH turn). When I tightened the extender further, the O ring squirted out leaking gas.
