Wow, I don't understand why Cricut doesn't make it simple to do these kinds of tasks. Thanks for the video.

Could you take 2 line files and rotate one and layer and weld it before adding text and slicing? Just wondering.

Thank you so much for this information. Can you also add a cut so it is cut out after the full in?

I LOVE THIS ❤ I wish Cricut would just add this on an update or something lol! How easy right? If you guys can hack it, I'm sure Cricut could find a way as well. Ya'll do such a great job 👏 and I was so, so, so excited to see this video from you guys. I love using pens, markers, etc. In my Cricut Maker, But having to fill/color in a text myself is time consuming at times! THANK YOUUU!!!!!!!!! 😊

Thanks for this, though I have to say it -- why can't Cricut just make fonts that will write filled in, particularly since they show on the font list as solid letters. It's really annoying to have to do this kind of word-around to get basic writing.

Why do you need to do one horizontal and one vertical and then pile them one on top of the other? Would adding the word with vertical lines to the square with horizontal line and slicing again have a different result? I've never done this. Thank you so much for this it's a game changer 😃

Great video Lauren! Thanks! Just a clarification, @17:18 you mean the outline text needs to be in front of the colored text right?

Awesome! Can you use this to fill in pictures too or just fonts?

Why wouldn't you just print it on your printer? I'm new, so please enlighten me.

Question: The Maker 3 doesn't require the adapters for non-Cricut pens? Or are the Crayola Markers just the same diameter as the Cricut Pens?

I’ve never done anything like this before so this is probably going to be a dumb question. Why do you put the lines in the letters? Is it to fill in the letters better?
@robira13132 жыл бұрын
The pens are drawing each and every line thereby filling it in. It is coloring-in the fonts.

This is a fantastic tutorial!! I like that you also showed what it would look like to use another pen besides the Cricut pens. I did not see you attach the black outline to the 2 green Asher"s- does it not need to be attached??

I know this is the wrong video but can anyone help me? I try to follow the print vinyl tutorials and I’m doing it properly but the ink always comes off when I go to apply it after the decal is done. The ink stays on the transfer tape even if I seal it. What could be causing this?

Couldn’t you just take a square shape put it to the color you want add your welded font and slice it! Just asking?
@15aj19912 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no, it will still be in outline form when you turn it to the pen operation. Cricut has yet to come out with a way to fill in the fonts when using the pen operation. For now, this is the only way to do it.
