@my2moneypits it went great, it took about 6 months for approval and around 2021 in August I took the trip I only went for a couple of days cause I was also a bit nervous, but upon returning they took me to a room where all the green card holders and other legal immigrants get checked. They didn't really ask for much but my passport and the paper that showed the approval of travel. The officer just verified it was me and gave it back no questions and was on my way. I had another friend that I recommend it also and she just went last year same thing no issues very smooth process.

@my2moneypits honestly don't be as long as you are already approved, have letter in hand, you shouldn't have issues. Ofc not doing anything illegal, bringing stuff back you shouldn't ect. Another thing I would point out on the letter they give you approval letter it has date ranges it just means your approved for travel and return on those days I've seen some people's dates range from 1 month to a year. I recommend coming back within a week before the date shown in case of flight changes / delays. Some people I've heard who traveled until the very last Day and had a flight change until next Day wich became a problem because they didn't follow the rules of the Advance Parole. Good luck you should take advantage while you can. I became a perminant resident last year due to be me taking this step

My Job has been renewing my DACA and I get my EAD mailed to the HR office. They are not familiar with Advance parole but are letting me use their address so that my document can be mailed in to their office (it just seems to me that it is a safer place for mail to be delivered there). Can I put that address as my "physical address" since the application has no space for a "mailing address?

Hello, why did you put DACA under “class of admission” ? Shouldn’t it be “EWI” entry without inspection?

Technically, it'd likely be no lawful status since there is no class of admission for DACA. If a person was an asylee, they'd have a class of admission and could request a refuge travel document. That said, USCIS understands DACA, so to prevent confusion, that is why I put DACA. Hello, I have a pretty thorough understanding of how to fill this out and also what to attach with the form, but I have one question regarding one of the requirements/evidence that I am asked to provide. "A copy of your tickets, itinerary, or any other evidence indicating your last date of departure from the United States and your intended date of return travel to the United States (for example, e-tickets, boarding passes);" I do not have any purchased tickets or ballots for my future trip. What do I do?

I wouldn't worry about that. We didn't have the flight booked until it was approved.

Have you or anyone renewed in 2022? The form I-821D is not allowing me to put in my expiration date for my DACA. Would it be okay if I use Microsoft Edge to add text. Or when I print it write in the date with black ink? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Advance parole applications are taking months. The USCIS website has a case processing time website. Is the unlawful entry a problem for advance parole? Generally no, but if you have other grounds of inadmissibility, that is an issue.

Every case is different. Just look at your case critically, and think about what you need to prove and how to support that with evidence.

You can't choose which service center it goes too. Additionally, I've never submitted a duplicate immigration application before. Submitting the same application with a different reason, yes, but not a duplicate.

That is risky. You should make sure if you are applying for advance parole, that you have enough time left on your DACA work permit.

My second last name on my birth certificate is misspelled by one letter, and on my DACA, I wrote down my name as it is written on my birth certificate, then under "other names used" I wrote down my second last name with correct spelling. On the Advanced Parole under family last name do I write down the name as it is written on my birth certificate or the correct way. On my employment authorization card and social security my first and last name are spelled correctly, the error is just on my mexican passport and birth certificate. Hope I make sense😩

It has helped me recently get approved for emergency advanced parole with DACA to go to Mexico this month to visit my father but I have grown worried due to the COVID regulations. I am currently not vaccinated and won’t have enough time to get both shots before my departure and I am worried that this will cause issues at the airport with customs when I return to the States. Do you know if I need to be vaccinated in order to be allowed back in to the States with emergency AP or will the negative test results be all that is needed? Good question. For adjustment of status and consular processong, I know you need the vaccine. That said, with advance parole, I'm not sure whether these admissibility grounds apply. People can get parole in place even though they are inadmissible. Also, verify with the airlines and department of state and CBP website to make sure

@@maipatas Hello Mai, I apologize for the delayed response. I was able to get back into the country due to my situation being an emergency advance parole case. The airlines did state that it is required for all non US Citizens to be vaccinated but in my case since it was an emergency, I explained that I did not have enough time to receive both vaccinations. I showed proof that I registered to get vaccinated in Mexico but was not able to get it done because they were not vaccinating my age group at the time. It truly depends on the airline and who you speak with that will allow you to fly. My plan B was to go through the land border if they denied me to get on the flight. I hope that this info helps you and I wish you all the best!
