Yes, the adapter for the paintball marker to tank is seperate than the air valve for filling up air. It's two seperate parts. Most fields actually ask that you DON'T remove your tank from your marker if you're running a rental.

Do you have a 6,000 psi air compressor for $1,300? If you only have a 150 psi compressor for your car tires, that won't even fill your hpa tank to any usable amount. MAYBE 1 1/2 hours will give a couple shots. But at that point, everything is too cold to keep running and you'll deatroy your compressor. You need a special compressor.

Well, a 3,000 psi tank will give about 9 pods(~150 rounds per pod) for summer/winter and a 4,500 will give about 12 pods. That's give or take depending on weather and radical weather changes.

A tyre inflator is usually going to max out at around 100-150 PSI, it won't get anywhere near the 3000 PSI you need to fill a tank. You need a compressor rated for 3000 or 4500 PSI to properly fill a tank.

The regulator should NEVER BE REMOVED!! Yes. Keep it on. The regulator is the guage you see on the side of the tank he's filling. HPA tanks have regulators, CO2 tanks don't. NEVER remove a regulator. The little fill nipple is apart of the regulator and the regulator is connected to the tank via HPA tank manufacturer.

Mmm, that's a question with incorrect terminology. You shoot fps(markers allow you to manually change this). Psi is lbs/inch squared. This means how much air is in tank. If your tank doesn't have a regulator, get one that does. But if you can't, that's fine. All you have to do is talk to field employee and they can check your tank psi. It's about 9 pods for every 3,000 psi. I've played enough that this is pretty common temperature change fkr winter to summer.
