I thought that area looked familiar! Glad to see families out camping. Hopefully we get some rain and the forest opens back up.

We love camping in this spot. The views are amazing and it is still so close to town that going out to get food or supplies isnt a huge chore. Do you live in the area, or camped near here before?

Where do you find locations to boondock in AZ, such as the one you're at now? And, is the $20 an annual fee, per night, etc? Thanks!

Right now everything is literally closed due to the drought. But you can use any BLM land. There are rules that say that you cannot be in one place longer than 14 days. Not sure anyone follows that. Best part is its free.

Nice video Justin. I do have a question however. Do you fill up the tank before you leave & these are just additional supply of water?

It would all depend on where we are headed, but typically i will wait until we are as close as possible to our camping area to fill up. When traveling with a full fresh water tank it adds alot of stress to the tank and holding straps. I have a 42gal tank and at 8.2lbs a gal that is 344lb to be hauling around. Some trailers or campers are designed to haul water around, but ours is not designed for it.
