Another tip: One of the last people to come out before the couple is the bride's mom. Usually if you chat with her right when she comes out and get a good estimate on when the couple comes out. Also, I like to send someone in (or go in myself) and tell the couple to wait 60 seconds to come out, then tell everyone else it will be about 60 seconds. Works out great! Awesome video BTW! I'm a member myself and I live in Utah, so this is all familiar to me. Love it

Great tip! Yes, you always gotta watch for the brides mom exiting the doors. That's when you know the couple is about to come out.

I am always fascinated by the fact that filming inside a church is not allowed in America or am I wrong? I've never seen a BTS of a church from Americans. Can someone explain why this is the case?
@thedrunkweddingphotographer4 ай бұрын
It's the cult of the LDS thing tbh that doesn't want ANYONE to film inside. There are a ton of videos as to why out there. But most American churches/temples of various religions allow filming with no flash/lights and with explicit rules on where and where not to stand.
@paulgero4 ай бұрын
depends on the denomination....filming inside a church is common, just not in the LDS faith...
@JakeWeisler3 ай бұрын
@@thedrunkweddingphotographernot a cult but alright

The temples in the LDS faith are sacred and don’t allow any cameras inside! But we film dozens of different religious weddings and most of the time we can film in their churches. Just not this one
@gabemartinez10124 ай бұрын
Awesome! Besides the recap video, how long should the wedding video be typically?

The optimal aperture of a full frame lens is usually between f5.6 and f8. What was the reason for f2.8 and shutter 1/1000sec when you are doing wide shots at 24mm and you need everything sharp and in focus? imho, you should go for f8 or even f11 when you do wide shots and you don’t need depth of field so you don’t have to crank the shutter so high and f2.8 only on longer focal lengths when you need to create depth. Very good video though, thank you we appreciate it.
