Technomadia makes your two apps. You might consider using the Campendium app too as they sometimes have stuff freecampsites.net doesn’t. Another one is the Allstays app which is occasionally helpful especially when I need propane

Thank you again for another useful video. Excellent simplistic complete steps. I realize to the experienced, this is a no-brainer. However, for people like myself some of those steps always sounded like “magic happens here“. Not so with your explanation. Good job. Note: there does not seem to be a FreeCampsites.net app for the iphone, but I have been using the FreeCampsites.net website. Note: to save my limited “unlimited” Verizon data for special, I have been using the $5 a month ebay unlimited 3G MiFi for everything from watching youtube to general surfing. I found out about it from an interview with Jim from Denver on Bob’s channel. Seems like a mysterious and convoluted process with little documentation, but it is rather simple after enough hair pulling has occurred.

What a great resource. Once I'm on the road I'll definitely use these resources. Out of curiosity, what kind of a plan do you have through Verizon? Is it an unlimited data plan? Are you tethering your phone to the computer for internet? Also, the video quality is really good, what are you using to record these?
@CreativityRV6 жыл бұрын
Hey, Chris. Thanks! I do have an unlimited plan, but they "manage" me because I go over 22gb every month. Because I'm in the middle of nowhere usually, though, I'm not a congested tower so I rarely notice. I have 30 gb of hotspot through my phone and tablet, but for these videos I usually tether my phone to my computer and put the video on my phone to upload it, thus saving my hotspot allowance. I'm going to do a video on this soon because its so confusing and I had to do a ton of research to find solutions that worked.

So I’m trying to break into the business of free camping in the TN KY area. It doesn’t look like there is any BLM over here and I’m heart broken. It’s the only layer I heard you mention so I’m not sure if any of the other layers would help me find free camping. Ugh! Just trying to get my $2.99 worth out of it at this point. I guess I should have googled a map first, but my impression was it was in every state. Doh!
