I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Being a Christian, I loved your prayer of Salvation. I pray others did also. There is nothing like having the Holy Trinity in your heart. Thank you Sandra for your advice to the ladies on finding "Mr. Right." Even though this information came from years ago, ala Ann Landers, It's so true today. I look forward to your future videos. This one being on Easter, Resurrection Sunday was special to me.

How about women no longer need men in today’s world? Widowed since I was 49. Only realized I didn’t need one when I became a grandma at age 60, and wish I had all the time back I spent searching for something I did not need! Very happy at age 75. 😀

This is such great advice I pray that so many people will listen to this if they're thinking about remarrying, this would be saved so many problems lives. I think about my own, married the first time for 19 years and then marrying my husband of almost 40 years, by God's grace it was awesome we went really fast about getting married, one thing I knew him all my life but he was a little bit older than me and we did not run in the same circles. I was at church girl and he was not, in the meantime he had given his heart to the Lord and when we met he had been serving the lord for a few years. God bless you and I'm loving you stories and your help ❤️

Another reason not to look for the same man we were married to before, no matter how wonderful he was: Because WE'VE changed. When you're with someone -- good or bad -- it changes you. You grow up during that time, and in many ways, you just change. When your partner dies, it can change you, too. So the person you are is different from the person you were when you were with him. At least, that's how it is for me; maybe not everyone. But I know that if I were to marry again, even though my husband was ideal for me, I would need someone different now. Thank you so much for sharing these videos, Sandra. They're really making me think. Thank you, too, for sharing the prayer and the Scripture, along with your thoughts.

Alyce-Kay Ruckelshaus I was married for 31 years and we were like peanut butter 'n jelly. Randy died 11 years ago and for the first 5-8 years, was waiting for me to get back to the woman I was when married. Well, she never returned - that was something I had to let go of. Your comment above turned into an "a ha" moment. I've now been on my own for 11 years and have also changed a lot in that time. I definitely agree with you, if I were to meet someone now, would be different from Randy, who I grew up with. His death changed me forever, and being on own since has made me a very independent woman plus I'm older too. Never thought of how much I've changed throughout especially these last 11 years. Appreciate your comment.

Yes, because when we go through changes we grow our bodies, mind and souls grow after pain and when we alone we grow to another level. Life is about storms and experiences. We grow to other levels. We get stronger. But we have to always have love in our hearts. Amen

I recently read a quote attributed to Lucille Ball, when someone asked why she remarried a man so different from Desi. She said something to the affect that the reason so many people have disastrous second marriages, is because they keep trying to find the same things in different people. That was my “aha moment”

Whoa - Ann Landers 😍 - things are WAY DIFFERENT out there from when that article was written. When I first moved to Arizona, I remember sitting in a little waiting area, talking to an older woman while I waited for my car to be serviced. She was a widow & I asked her, being this area has many retirees, if she was finding men to date. She rolled her eyes & said, “All they are looking for is a “nurse with a purse.” I thought that was so funny - but most likely true.🌵😜

Your very words might through the Holy Spirit bring someone to except Jesus as their personal savior.I am a widow of almost 3 yrs. I could not have made it this far without the Lord being with me . Brag on Jesus for he is worthy of our praise . Bless you Sandra you are such a beautiful lady .

Sandra I am A new subscriber. We are the same age. My first video I watched of yours I relayed to it so much . My husband is still alive he is 83. Things seem to be going downhill somewhat. But he is still in pretty darn good health. So a lot of the things you’re talking about I’m trying to take notes for when this actually will happen. Although his family has longevity such as 96 to hundred. So who knows I may go before he does. I have a suggestion. You talked about papers that you had to get all together after a husband‘s death. Could you possibly go over some of those so we out there could plan ahead and know what to do. Sincerely, me. I am a Christian and I love Jesus. my husband in such a prayer warrior. God Bless you keep the Faith.

I thought about Ann Landers as soon as you held up that newspaper article. All good things to think about. I myself am not interested in having another man in my life. Maybe one day but the thought of holding the hand of a man, or anything else makes me feel ill. I guess I had the best in my mind and for now I’m fine by myself. Or rather I’m not alone. REALLY great advice....I remember Dear Abby and Ann Landers being sisters....I THINK there's either a movie or a documentary about them. I'm a documentary enthusiast...so wouldn't surprise me if I saw it doc style. I remember my own mama....who went Home to Jesus....this past May 29th....made 6 yrs ago.... I remember her telling me....the way a man treats his mother ...is a MAJOR indication as to how he will treat you. I find myself telling women younger than me that same thing...I've been married a long time...it will be 39 yrs in August....yes, we got married as "babies"😉.... but we're still here....and I STILL believe the advice on how he treats his mom...it's mostly true. My husband treats his mom quite well....maybe sometimes...let's her overstep boundaries occasionally.... BUT....ya learn....after this many years of marriage to pick and choose your battles....and some things are FAR less worse that what some other wives are dealing with....what you think Ms. Sandy? 🤗🥰 Loving the videos 🌠

If your husband treats you as good as his mom she will be resentful and jealous of you. And men like to pit women against each other because men love to feel fought over. my last husband made sure his mom did`nt want for anything but I couldn`t even get a birthday or anniversary gift out of him. She was married and living on 2 retirements so it was`nt that she needed help. He liked to treat me bad in front of her so she`d see I wasn`t that special like she was.The best husband is a motherless husband!

I disagreed in some points one is find a man with skill education 🙄well so many narcissist integrated psychopaths is in a education skills job because it’s power and control so better find a man with good skill as a parent good education and patient to them kids. Also don’t be a choice, you choosing the man it’s metaphorical it’s some common quotes? What it’s mean. You should not let man choice you?? No sense. Another advice I really not analysed. It’s no for me! Person knows narcissist and psychopath personality never gonna put the education of you own kids in someone have skill in education it’s parents job. Not put in a new partner shoulders.

When you said, laugh at the same things, rang a bell. My husband laughed at things I thought were stupid, I laughed at completely at different kind of things. I didn't watch it because I'm looking for someone but I know people that are desperate to finding someone. I don't understand why some woman need a man in their lives.

I think it was great her talking about how God loves us & about Jesus. Because sometimes when your feeling lonely, missing your husband so much your faith gets weak. She reminded me God loves me & I'm not alone. It was very comforting to me. Just let her be herself! Alot of us appreciate what she says about Jesus & sharing scriptures.

I know videos bashing and generalizing negatively about men get lots of views, but it's intellectually dishonest and extremely unbecoming. There are as many predatory and vile women out there as men. There are as many lovely men out there as women. Disappointing because bigotry is not Christlike. Plenty of channels of women doing these kinds of topics. What does it say about women? Sad stuff, imo.

Alot a Sandra's comments are true And she's had two loving husbands so not all negative. It's good to be real rather than in denial.
@susansmith493
@susansmith493 2 жыл бұрын
@@maggiegray1698 Not denial at all. It's blatantly false that the sea of men is overwhelmingly "full of bad guys" while implying the sea of women is overwhelmingly righteous and good. Fact is, it's exactly this sort of negative stereotyping that leads men away from relationships and rightly so. It's akin to saying "believe all women." Intellectually dishonest, sexist and statistically false. Women lie all the time. Gender is NOT a precursor to goodness, humility, decency and virtue. Remember we fought AGAINST men who generalized negatively against us with falsely stereotypical statements. That we now do it to them is despicable. It's the last politically correct and completely accepted bigotry.
