Love it, agreed on all points! I got my first job using tip 2, and networked well with professor and seniors to get the second part time job.

Very useful video! I’d recommend these tips to all the students looking for a part-time job too! Some jobs on campus can be so relevant to your skill set that you might eventually get hired full time! Way to goo mayank! #greatjob ☺️👍🏻

Hey! But my university officials are saying that " handshake(the online portal valid for my university ) will work after u come here, and be active student". So what should I do now. Is there any other way or should I wait?
@FellowBrownie5 жыл бұрын
Hi. Maybe try getting in touch with your seniors through LinkedIn or Facebook and ask if they can recommend you somewhere. Also, drop an email to undergrad professors of subjects you're good at and ask if they need help in the coming semester. Apply actively once you get access to the portal.

Hey I'll be attending NEU this Fall for MS in EM. Would u recommend going for an on-campus job in the 1st semester?
@FellowBrownie5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes, I don't see any issues. Although, you need to make sure that your course load allows you to save 20hrs per week to work on campus. Also, some on-campus jobs like working in the library, lets you study while on the job so maybe try finding only those if you think you might have a heavy course load in a particular semester. Hope it helps! :)

Hey, I came to NEU this spring. Having difficulty finding an on campus job. Any suggestions ?
@FellowBrownie3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Keep applying through the employment portal, the sooner you apply from the time of job posting, the higher will be the chances. Also, keep in touch with students who are currently employed on campus.
