Tom, WOW what a great video! Love the combination of depthfinder screenshots and live action. Really helps me to visualize what is going on. I'm still learning how to get the most out of my depthfinder, and your descriptions and explanations of the images on the screen are most helpful. Then your comments on how you approach a specific spot and fish it based on what you see is super super helpful. Only one thing is a distraction, and that is the glare off the screen. If you can add a shield over the Humminbird, that would further sharpen the image and help me see the screen better. Thanks for making some outstanding videos. I did subscribe and will continue to watch for new content, as well as reviewing your past posts. Great instructional videos!!!

So much great info in your vids BUT, not all of us have side imaging so I wondered if you'd consider doing a video or two on using down scan, fishing the way you do with the bobbers & jigging raps? Thanks and I'll keep watching for sure.

Great video as usual, But could you expand on how you keep using side imaging to keep track of the school while spot locked? When not moving, my side imaging detail loses detail.

Do you do much river fishing? I'm learning so much from you, if Hummingbird and Lowrance and Garmin would have training videos like what you show they may sell the higher end fish finder, the hardest thing for me is which one now. Knowing the differences between the different screens like the ones that are 1080 or 760. By the time one figures out all of the options the new models have come out. I know that my Lowrance Elite 7 HDI is good but now I want the side imaging and maybe 360. Thanks

TB, you ever drop shot with live bait instead of slip bobber? i always that that this would put your bait at the right spot no matter the depth making it easier when driving around marking and dropping on fish, just a thought, something I'd be interested in seeing

Impressive!! Thank you so much for sharing the knowledge. I have two questions please: Can i use side imaging in 40 ft deep of water? Which is giving you clearer side imaging Humminbird or Lawrance?

Hey I have a humminbird fish finder with SI and DI, but it's not the MEGA so I don't have the 1000mhz+ frequencies so my down imaging looks absolutely nothing like yours it's a lot less detailed. Do you have any experience with 450khz down imaging and if it's even possible to see those tiny shadows and white specs on it?

I am a believer in using the less expensive equipment or making due with the older equipment. It's all technique what you are teaching us, I just have to try different things when I am out on the water. Not just dragging crawlers through the water.
