dread has the ability to appear at door 13 when it begins to reach 12 o'clock, it might make sense at 13 because of the unlucky/curse number, as when dread appears, it will make you colorblind and will appear after 10 seconds, either running onto the next door, or using a crucifix (yes this is true, you can use the crucifix on it)

This is actually true, i thought i was wasting my time, and when it was about 11:57 i rushed to 12 and waited for it. I entered 13 to see that it's actually true! I The lights turned off, the screen turned gray with chimes, and i didn't even try to fight it, because i was WOW! The Jumpscare was a white screen with holes No guiding light message though.

Few things to note... 0:31 I dont THINK having modifiers affects its behavior / spawn time, unless a modifier for that purpose was added. (Confirmation needed) 0:43 You said the clock spawns on the LEFT, but you turned AND it spawned to the RIGHT instead. (Though it likely spawns on the left in SUPER HARD MODE, since The Reception in that mode is reversed.) 0:49 You dont have to sit at The Reception. Sometimes you can find other wall clocks or grandfather clocks that let you track the time. (Or you can just set a timer for 1 hour) 0:55 It appears after an hour, when you open door #13. If you open door 14, it wont be able to spawn. Opening door 14 just after its visual effects start let you escape it. Going back to door 13 does nothing. 1:40 The lights are guaranteed to break if you wait for long enough in a single room. It isn't random. Some more things probably worth mentioning... You can use the Crucifix on Dread, banishing it from the current run. The clock in game is not related to the current time in real life, it always starts at 11 PM. Even if you play at 11:30 PM. Trying to hide in a closet or bed with Dread attacking will set him to wait for Hide to kick you out of the closet or you to leave yourself. Feel free to correct me in the replies!

That might be dread's new mechanic where if you stay in a room for longer than 5 mins would get you killed by it which would be nothing in regular rooms but danger in dark rooms, rooms with a lock, and rooms with picture puzzles. Basically puzzle rooms.
