Astrology or Jyotish is the science of light and a limb or organ of the Vedas. Can't really understand yogas and other complex placements unless you have internalised the Vedas ( just like Hayagreeva who consumed the Vedas while lord Brahma was busy, and fled). I have had a few spiritual experiences and firmly believe in the presence of the akash tattva in nature which comes under the domain of Jupiter. Also, Jupiter rules the organ of ear 👂 which helps all animals on earth to hear. It also lords the mantra hum - which is a bija mantra. In my opinion, Venus gets exalted only in Pisces because of the lordship of Jupiter and it being a watery sign. Exaltation is not a good placement compared to the own house placement or the moolatrikona, because an exalted planet acts as if it is in an office, while a moolatrikona planet acts as if it is in its own house ( chilling and relaxing). I have been a student of astrology for more than a decade now and can firmly conclude that astrology is a very deep subject and only the perfected yogis can grasp the whole of it.
