I was tempted to dispair....to become bitter....to ask "Why?" I thought I trusted God, but the trial I am going through now refined me to the point of realizing how little faith I possess. Thanks be to God who saves us from ourselves! I was truly encouraged by this podcast. Appreciate you, brothers.

Jonny, I am nearly finished with your book "Consider the Lillies," and I want to say that it is an amazing read. It is beautifully written and concise. Also, it consistently points to God giving Him all glory. It will be one of those books I pull quotes and examples from in conversation, and that I refer to others who struggle with anxiety. Every person out there needs a copy. Thank you for your efforts and ministry ❤

That was awesome!! As someone who has been through many difficulties and trials, I thank you for this Biblical wisdom. When I don’t understand, I lean on the character of God who never changes. He is the rock who never moves. He is GOOD, faithful, trustworthy, true. He is sovereign and I can trust Him. Prayers to all who are in a trial fighting to hold on. Remember, even if you haven’t the strength, He never lets go of you.

This is probably my favorite episode yet! What a gem Pastor Harry is and how wise of Pastor Jonny to tap into that wisdom! Straight up Truth! This truth is so much needed in our world where we will do ANYTHING to keep from being the least bit uncomfortable, let alone suffer! Thank you both! Amen! Hallelujah!

Trials illuminate not only God’s Kingdom, but what we’re relying upon. The wolves get exposed, the goat’s rigidity shatters, and the humble sheep get strong.

My daughter has epilepsy and we have done almost everything we know how to help her. It is so hard on our family because you don’t know when she will have one and the medication she takes has bad side effects to her attitude. Lord give me wisdom and bless this podcast for talking about trials. Thank you to anyone who prays for me and my family, but especially my daughter Grace

💕Jesus hear my prayers. I’m holding on to my faith. I feel so alone as a single parent things are hard on me. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for my children both are special needs. Lord Jesus hear my prayers. Walking with faith not by sight.💕

Child of God, Have you been on a break from posting this message all over KZbin? I have not seen it around the last few months! In any case, as I have mentioned dozens of times to your posts over the last half decade, I’m very certain Jesus knows your exact needs and will meet them bountifully. He’s the Good Shepherd, searching every single thing and tending it perfectly! How are those boys? How old are they now?

My mother is i'll and i take care of her. Everytime she has a relapse i tend to get cold and forget why God is testing me. Maybe we should pray in the middle of a trial That gñGod delivers US from unbelief.

I know this will sound like am an immature Christian, but the truth is, its very easy to speak of perseverance and joy in trials when you are not in it.

Will the pressures God puts on you(Trials),crush you into dust or will they turn you into a beautiful diamond?God gives us these tests to see deep down what we are made of and who we really are.Thats my takeaway from this💫😃☝🏼

Pastor Harry, thank you so much. Our trials and worries come to us as a result of the fallen world, right? I just want to make sure I understand correctly. Are you saying that God handpicks our trials and purposely inflicts them upon us for our own good? Or is it that problems and trials befall us, and through God, we can make sense of it and grow? Thank you again.

There is no "joy" in suffering. God is a POS who created humans with a "free will," with their own hopes, desires, etc. All so that he could WITHHOLD these things from you and deprive you. I cannot stand him and that's why I don't share the gospel or plant seeds.
