Legit! Thanks for the info! You can probably find the door lock actuator on Amazon, ebay, or local auto store. There's probably videos of how to do it. If not, you can look at a similar year/model for the just of it. I've done it on different vehicles. You'll need some plastic door trim tools to keep from scratching up the door panels

Unfortunately that second sticker that you're pointing to did not have the door code for my Lincoln MKS. I slid my cell phone in that area to take pictures of both stickers and I've tried every five digit number that are on them and none will open my door. Any other ideas? Thanks, Greg

No I never did fi d any code that works. It's funny I have the workshop manual that I purchased online last year just to have just in case I or mechanic needs to troubleshoot this car in the future. I've been looking out for that manual, which was like to dictionary size and now I can't find it :( I'm ready to stop by the service desk at my dealer and ask what they would charge me to retrieve it.. I may also get a second key made and programmed I hear that cost about $380. NOW, if you have a second set of key fobs you can pull code out yourself. There's KZbin videos on that.

Fuse box comes off by lifting out the little thumb clip on the left side of the box, then the whole fuse panel slides left. Then pull straight out.

Totally excellent! Found my door code on the sticker that's on the back of the fuse box under the driver's dash. The number was small, on the lower left part of the sticker. My sticker was all the way in back, in a vertical position. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

My lock did the same thing yours does. Was going to have to do is take the door panel off. And you'll see the Locking rod is bent straighten it out a little bit and it will work just fine.

I had the same problem with my door lock on my passenger side acting erratic and I changed my door lock actuator and it worked fine after that.

@@erikbrown4900 late reply, but figured I'd reply in case you're still having trouble. I have an 09 as well. Fortunately for me, there was only one owner before my purchase and they gave me the master code. Once you enter the 5 digit master code, press "1" and you have 10 seconds to set your own 5 digit code.
