Thanks for leaking another lovely spot, so it can become like the disappearing tarn (:

What's wrong with Disappearing Tarn? It's still there, the publicity has got more people out exploring the outdoors which is fine by me. Go find your own places to gatekeep if you want to do that

@caedencekuepper littering, chemicals from sunscreen entering the water and damage to the surrounding environment are all side effects of the number of people that have gone to it.

@@caedencekueppermate this isn’t gatekeeping, it’s common sense. There are few places like this left around Hobart, and if people are truly interested they will find them. Popping up videos like this leads to the “instagram effect”, which is not positive and will lead to degradation of the area, as seen towards the tarn. Video is great, is a beautiful area, but please consider making it private and perhaps sharing it with friends.

@Dqrka thanks! Sadly I’m quickly realising that the people who share videos like this just don’t care. It’s all for likes, follows etc. They don’t seem to appreciate the negative aspects. Would love a private chat if you’re up for it @caedence !

Thanks for the video. Do you think the rock is smooth enough to slide down?

@@petercoulson4685 definitely. Have seen photos of it and the pool is very deep too
