I think that the shaking pole just changes everything about the hunger, If every Hunter know this, it would be twice as difficult it is to win as a survivor because their location will always be known

There’s 2 ways. So if you just spawn, it means your not near the survivor (ofc). So if you can walk or teleport to the farthest cipher, you’ll have a 60% of finding the position of the survivor. Next one is the same thing this KZbinr explained, but when a survivor starts to decode the ciper. You’ll see a shake from the pole. There’s a 5% of finding a survivor at the cipher. I hope this helps :,>

I cant see the shaking pole either because of the peformance graphics or 300 ping. I cant see the footsteps because of peformance graphics or just my screens brightness. I swear my ping goes up to 800 when holding a survivor to the rocket chair. My strategy is to go to the camera world and listen. My game crashes when i enter a game so 3 or 4 cipher machines are already done.

Look at the top left hand corner of your game, there should be a number by your WiFi sign that’s constantly changing. That’s your ping! :) The lower it is, the better and it should be colored green. I think 150~299 is yellow, and 300+ is bad ping which is red.
