WARNING: There is a bug affecting the door to the final room of the mystery, currently the door may not open even after all sigils are lit up, to my knowledge there is no fix. probably because they assume you're watching and don't wanna break immersion of course, you can break your own immersion by walking up in between them lol. but otherwise, they'd have to predict where your standing for them to turn and address you like the other times he talks to you, just talking to air if you're not where he's facing

Quick tip for everyone, when you go to the coral tomb, instead of speed running the puzzles, just hold down on left and back (in terms of ASWD, or controller) you'll land on the ledge and be able to access the mystery room.

if you try just back or just left and fall in the water take the mermaid statue and make sure to hold both for the full push that just gets you on the ledge

Yeah they didn't know how to end that story. They only knew that whole mystery thing would be cool and it was util we learned that all that clues were false. Its like oh you spent so much time playing as a Sot detective now it was all for nothing now you have to travel across sot and spent extra 3 hours to play the same song 6 times and then get 1 minute cutscene that changes nothing good luck xD No wait it changes that the Siren Queen somehow returned. The rise of skywalker Palpatine moment 😂

Well the song may be theorized because of the sigils we make, including the fact that we find the fallen lantern underwater maybe? May have been a tweet from Rare. The islands I believe I remember hearing that the skull and x spot on the spyglass glows if you aim where this guy says. Or its a trick of the light isk

Rare released clues to people through emails. Many of us were working to decipher maps sent by rare and each map had one of the five islands, and a clue that explains an area where you would stand/view.

The reason this was so low effort and most of the meaningful clues were on social media is because they don't actually care about the mystery and know that the attention online is frre advertising. That's why to get a better community day we had to post with that hashtag. They knew we'd do it, jt wasn't a challenge. Just advertisement.

They should work in any order. For the Krakens Fall symbol, it's either just being annoying and not triggering, which just means you need to keep trying it until it works, or the other option is someone else already activated it, in which case it may save you sometime to check the door and see if any are already glowing

How tf people find the exact spots and why u need to play a song?!

I'm not sure how we figured out what song, but as far as how we found the where, basically we've been getting map fragments for the 5 Islands with sigils for a few days, each piece of the maps had a couple clues, for instance the Kraken's fall map had a fire symbol on it (meaning the location we need to use the spyglass from), then the compass in the corner of the map had a faint arrow pointing in the direction we need to look from the beacon There were like 3 or 4 clues for each map, but most had a direction to look and a location to look from

Yep! Everything in the video still works, with the potential exception of the final puzzle door. There's currantly bug that sometimes causes the door to just not open, and if it happens, there's no way to fix it, it's not a definite thing but something to be aware of before setting sail
