How to find proper fingerings? Do’s and don’ts!

I like your videos and you are a good teacher. Would it help to play blocks of notes and then reposition the hand to play another block of notes? I have been playing the piano accordion for many years and I still have problems with fingering. You have told me in one of your other videos, that the fingering that works for one person may not work for another person. In other words, there is no optimal fingering for a piece that will work for everyone.

Hello, you are correct, there is no universal fingerings for everyone. As for the repositioning your hand, I assume it can work for a lot of situations. Music you play will tell you is that good enough or not. If it's good, great! If it's not than you will have to change the approach.
