Thank you so much for this information! I was discouraged with my Residency journey but this vid reminded me that I still have a chance. I’m currently a Clinical Trial Coordinator in Oncology here in my country (DR) and that has opened the opportunity for me to present a Poster and even be Sub-Investigator in one of the trials. I’m studying for the steps at the same time, hopefully I’ll be able to take the STEP 1 this year.

Hi ... Just ran into your video .. i felt as i watching this video that im listening to 2 angels 😇 from Heaven .. I am in this boat .. I am IMG , finished my MD from poland and i have a BS from UMBC in baltimore ... I made some mistakes earlier bt its never too late to fix them , i did not pursue to work in clinical research earlier since gradauting; i worked certified CMA and medical lab tech during covid ... So far been applying to universities near me (VCU/uVA)(im n Richmond Va ) , i even applied to Emory in atlanta for clinical research coordinator and assistant positions ... im waiting at moment .. ** Question : 1) Do you recommend adding clinical research courses to your CV , im seeing NIH has free courses ... 2) some positions want the SOCRA and ARCP certifications, and to get these, y need 2 years in clinical research ... bt these take time 3) Do you recommend a masters in public health ? Will it increase your chance in residecny match ... Thanks ... Jameel

Hi, is clinical research more valued than bench (basic) research by the programs (in the context of internal medicine residency)?

Hi! What would you say its the minimum time to have enough research experience to get an “ok” CV in order to apply to residency? Is it possible to do research for 2 months?

Thank you for this great video.I have been emailing for a few days now and of my approximately 10 emails I have become 50% response which are all no positions available. should I concerned that something is wrong with my resume or are this responses usually genuine and I should just contact other people?

Hi! I wanted to know how do I find which physician is doing which type of research so that I can contact them. Thankyou for the video!

Hi Vidushi, you can try searching on clinicaltrials.gov and filter the search by physician investigator name or specialty, even by location were the clinical trial is being conducted.

Work visa is only offered by an employer who has capability to sponsor it. Yes you can study for USMLE while working on research

How do we get a work visa if we come on a B1/B2
@NinaLum2 жыл бұрын
a B1/b2 is a business visitor visa, you cannot work on it, but a work visa H1B must be offered to you after you have gained employment offer for residency. have you watched my course with resources on this? imgroadmap.com/p/how-i-handled-visa-issues-for-the-non-us-img
