Thanks, the first Windows solution worked perfectly. I'm at work and I managed to connect my laptop to the WiFi network by pressing the button on top of the router, but I couldn't get the password to connect my phone. This solved it.

This is very handy information to have. Thank you. Once you see all your passwords displayed that you've used for networks on your laptop, how do you delete them if you're (for example) selling someone your laptop? Can you just take them off the computer?

Open settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Reset > Click Reset Now & then it will say: "Are you sure you want to reset your network's settings?" click yes and then it will say "Your Computer Will Shut Down In 5 Minutes" Instead of waiting 5 minutes just restart your computer & then you're good!.

If you are on linux, go to wifi --> click the network you are connected to --> wifi settings --> cog icon of the wifi you are connected to --> security --> and then show password (it didn't prompt me to enter my device password, but if it does for you, just enter it!) Hope that helps!!

Long press the wifi icon>goto saved networks>tap the preferred wifi network name>tap share There, under the QR code u could find the network password. The above steps are for vanilla android system, the steps will change depending on the android skin you got.
