Wick clip is the metal piece at the end of the wick. Cutting or nipping end pliers is the other tool. Very good tips! Thank you.

I use this method for wick testing as well. I pull wicks as soon as I blow the flames out and let the holes fill with the melted wax. No need for a heat gun.😊. Great video!!

Thanks so much for the video! I have a question - why do you need to wait for the candle to solidify again before taking out the wicks? If they aren't glued to the bottom, couldn't you just take them out while there's still a melt pool?

it's only a preference, you certainly can take them out while there still a melt pool :)

GM sunshine! I watched this when you posted it and i'm watching again because you turned me on to #honeyandhive !! My coconut apricot creme and CDN wicks arrived last night! I was trying the coco bright 10 and i gave it like a 6/10. I'm very excited to get started!! (I have CD, ECO & HTP wicks already so hopefully i'll get the perfect candle!). by the way, my son was laughing when you said "yous"! Hello, thanks for the video! Could you answer me sth? I use soy wax and I don't know if it's better to use a wick with booster or double wick. In case of using double wick, do I need to choose a smaller size? It's difficult. Hope you can help me. Thank you.

Hello thank you for your question, so if you decide to use soy remember that soy melts very quickly, the size of your wick will depend on the diameter of your jar. Hope this helps you 💕

I actually do not use the 6's, for this particular jar and the particular wax, I find that 2 eco 4 6'' work best! :)
